EMDR and IFS Intensive Therapy

Healing Trauma, Anxiety, and More Through Intensive Therapy in Fishers, Indiana, and Beyond

Transformative Relief from PTSD, Complex Trauma, and Anxiety in Days, Not Years

This is therapy that works.

At EMDR Indiana, we specialize in EMDR and IFS intensive therapy, which are immersive, extended-format sessions designed to accelerate healing, process trauma deeply, and create lasting transformation that changes how you move through the world. These focused, multi-hour EMDR intensives give us the time and space to do what traditional weekly therapy simply can't. We fully engage the whole system, rewire ingrained patterns, and process trauma at the root.

Our immersive IFS and EMDR intensive programs weave in somatic integration, gently bringing healing to the nervous system where it truly needs to land. By harnessing the brain's natural neuroplasticity, we help you reprocess distressing memories, resolve internal conflict, and come home to a sense of clarity, calm, and creativity you may not have felt in years. We are working towards a neural revolution not typically found in traditional therapy. A chance to reshape your story with fresh eyes and a nervous system that finally feels safe enough to heal.

  • Accelerated Healing – Longer, immersive sessions create space for the kind of deep breakthroughs that weekly therapy often takes years to reach.

  • Whole-System Integration – By engaging the mind, body, and nervous system together, healing lands deeper and sticks longer.

  • A Transformational Experience – You'll feel the shift, not just understand it, in a way that conventional weekly therapy rarely has time to offer.

  • Precision & Depth – We move at your pace, taking the time to do the work right, without interruptions, clock-watching, or rushing what deserves to unfold naturally.

The Modalities We Weave Together

Three Powerful Approaches. One Deeply Integrated Experience. Where Science, Story, and the Body Come Together to Heal.

EMDR — Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR is one of the most extensively researched and clinically validated trauma therapies in the world. Developed in the late 1980s and now endorsed by the World Health Organization and the American Psychological Association, EMDR works by helping the brain reprocess traumatic memories that have become stuck in the nervous system, keeping you locked in patterns of fear, shame, anxiety, or pain long after the original experience has passed.

Using bilateral stimulation (gentle eye movements, tapping, or sound), EMDR activates the brain's natural healing process, allowing distressing memories to be reprocessed and stored in a way that no longer triggers the same emotional and physical response. The result allows people to feel better about a memory, and the memory genuinely loses its grip.

Internal Family Systems is a deeply compassionate, evidence-based approach to therapy that recognizes we are not one single, unified self but a rich inner system of different parts, each with its own perspective, feelings, and role to play. Some parts carry our pain. Some carry our shame. Some work tirelessly to protect us, often in ways that once made perfect sense but may now be getting in the way of the life we want.

IFS invites you to get curious about those parts rather than fighting them. With the guidance of a skilled therapist, you'll learn to access your core Self (the calm, compassionate, wise part of you that was never damaged by what you've been through), and from that place, begin to gently heal the parts that have been carrying the heaviest loads. It's less about fixing what's broken and more about coming home to what was always whole.

Somatic Awareness — Healing That Lives in the Body

Talk therapy works with the mind. Somatic awareness works with the whole person. It’s rooted in the understanding that trauma doesn't just live in our memories and thoughts; it lives in our bodies, our nervous systems, and the physical sensations we carry without always knowing why. Somatic awareness brings gentle, curious attention to what the body is experiencing in the present moment.

In our work together, somatic awareness isn't a separate technique, it's woven into everything. We pay attention to where tension lives, where breath gets shallow, where the body braces or collapses, and what those signals are trying to tell us. By bringing healing to the nervous system directly, not just talking about it but feeling it shift, we help change land in the place it needs to land most. Because real, lasting healing isn't something you just understand. It's something you feel in your bones.

Meet Courtney

A smiling woman with gray hair and glasses standing outdoors in a wooded area with leafless trees and brown fallen leaves on the ground.

As a trauma-specialized therapist offering EMDR and IFS intensives in Fishers, Indiana, I help adults finally move from surviving to thriving. I know how exhausting it is to carry the weight of the past while trying to show up fully in your everyday life, and I know that traditional weekly therapy doesn't always give you the time and space to do the deep work that real healing requires.

That's where EMDR and IFS intensive therapy changes everything. My approach goes beyond symptom management. We work at the root, using evidence-based, somatically-informed methods to process trauma, resolve internal conflict, and rewire the patterns that have been keeping you stuck. Whether you're navigating PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, burnout, or struggling with identity and relationships, this work is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

In our work together, you won't just understand your story differently, you'll feel it shift in your body, in your nervous system, and in the way you move through the world. We'll build a genuine foundation for confidence, deeper relationships, and a life that finally feels fulfilling, spacious, and free.

It’s time to live fully.
